Ms. Cox earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Martin’s University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Washington (License #LH00008881). Ms. Cox has specialized training in EMDR (treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and other mental health issues, working with troubled teenage clients, and supporting individuals through legal trials. Her private practice focuses on the following groups/situations: teenage girls, women’s issues, and marital counseling. In addition to her primary clinical responsibilities, Ms. Cox provides seminars for domestic violence survivors, motherhood, self-care, marital issues, depression, and bipolar disorder. Ms. Cox is a highly sought after author and writes monthly psychological articles for community publications.
